Event Space Coordinator
Part-time Employee: 18-20 hours/week
$22.440/hour

Remote and on-site in North Berkeley
BFUU is looking for a part-time Event Space Coordinator to promote and administer the use of building spaces for the BFUU community and the general public. Manage a PT Sexton (custodian) and work with building manager to assure the spaces are clean and furnishings, fixtures, and equipment are in good repair. Must be able to climb stairs and lift at least 20 lbs. Must be proficient with office software (Mac) and able to learn proprietary scheduling software. Must communicate effectively, have a “can-do” attitude, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Prefer experience in sales, marketing, and/or facilities management; bachelor's degree; experience with databases or HTML; but flexible in the mix for right candidate. Remote and in-person at Berkeley CA location.

Overall IT management for this small fellowship; maintain our office networks, computers (Mac/Mac mini) and printers (including software, settings, firmware, connectivity), phones (VOIP), website structure (Joomla) and to serve as a source of guidance for various projects.
Education and/or experience equivalent to 2 years in tech support, systems administration, phones management, and/or website management required.
Experience with A/V equipment (old sound board/mics/portable audio system, projectors, T-Loop) desirable. Ability to guide/train users on new software/apps/hardware desirable.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
