How do we understand our Unitarian Universalist shared values in a world where billionaires hoard wealth at the expense of the many, where ICE detains and disappears people while tearing apart families, and where fossil fuel lobbyists dominate the UN’s biggest climate conference? How do we build a world where our values actually shape society?

Gregory Stevens (they/he)
Gregory is a former Baptist preacher, long time labor organizer, and interfaith community
activist. They’re the lead organizer for the Unitarian Universalist EcoSocialist Network, but by
day sell their labor power to California Interfaith Power & Light. Gregory has an MDiv from
Claremont School of Theology and an MA in Activist Anthropology from California Institute of
Integral Studies.
