BFUU’s historic Fellowship Hall is located at 1924 Cedar Street Berkeley CA. Our BFUU Religious Education (RE) Building is located at 1606 Bonita Avenue, Berkeley CA 94709.

The Fellowship Hall (1924 Cedar St) is accessible by a ramp on the Bonita Avenue side of the Hall, and has a T-Loop system to enhance audio for those with hearing aids.

The BFUU office is accessible on the ground floor of the RE Building, but help may be needed to open the gate and doors for access. The Preschool Rooms are also accessible, but are only reservable by BFUU groups. At this time, the upstairs rooms in the RE Building (Ministers’ office and Benjy, Connie Barbour, and Fireside Rooms) are not wheelchair accessible.

Parking

BFUU is in Berkeley residential parking zone “E” so street parking is limited to 2 hours Mon-Fri from 9 AM – 7 PM. There is no time restriction on Saturday and Sunday.

Public Transit

• By Car: There is generally plenty of free on-street parking near the Fellowship.
  2 hour parking is enforced on weekdays, 9 am – 7 pm
  From I-80 take the University Ave. exit.
  Go east (toward the hills) on University.
  Turn left on Martin Luther King (MLK).
  2 traffic lights to Cedar. Turn right on Cedar St.
  1 block east of Martin Luther King, at Bonita Ave.

• By Public Transportation: BFUU is a few minute walk (.8 miles) from the Downtown Berkeley and North Berkeley BART stations.
• Walking from the North Berkeley BART:
  Go north on Sacramento to Virginia and turn right onto Virginia.
  Head east on Virginia one block past Martin Luther King, to Bonita and turn left.
  BFUU is at the end of the block, at the corner of Cedar and Bonita.

  Go north on Shattuck, six blocks past University and turn left on Cedar St.

  BFUU is a very short walk from AC Transit Bus Lines 7 & 18which depart from Downtown Berkeley BART (Shattuck & Cedar stop) and AC Transit Bus Line 12 which departs from Ashby BART(MLK & Vine stop.)
