Irene Sazer Internationally known genre-hopping violinist/fiddler who has played with Ali Akbar Khan, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Smoky Robinson, Frank Sinatra, David Grisman, Linda Rondstadt, Bjork, and Billy Joel, performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and concert halls around the world. Maggie Forti is a lead vocalist known for her lush, soulful vocals, varied genres and well crafted songwriting. She’s performed with Peter Rowan, Jerry Jeff Walker, Vicki Randle, Lindsay Lou, ALO members, James Nash, Evie Laden, members of The Brother’s Comatose, The Rainbow Girls and many more. A veteran of three High Sierra Music Festivals, she appears frequently in SF Bay’s favorite listening spaces. Andrea Prichett is known for her rich vocal performances and her political and topical songwriting style. Formerly with the nationally recognized folk trio “Rebecca Riots”. She is a member of the “Wildcat Canyon” acoustic music collective, with Shelley Doty, Maggie Forti, Emily Shore, Green and other local favorites. And Andrea loves to rock out with the Disco/R&B cover band “Shake It Booty Band” that recently won the East Bay Express 2024 Reader’s Choice for “Best Cover Band”. Shelley Doty is a fantastic guitarist with a powerfully rich voice, as well as a prodigious songwriter, and dynamic performer. The East Bay Express called her “the complete performer in her use of cranked emotions in her singing, edgy rock energy and swinging jazz guitar rhythms.” Shelley’s music infuses pop, blues, jazz, and folk with a strong dose of passion. Her many bands–Jambay, Pele-Juju, Shelley Doty X-Tet, and currently Skip the Needle –have all been popular high energy collaborations. She often plays at the Freight & Salvage, where she gets to explore “all the different sides of my musical imagination.”
Michelle Goerlitz is a versatile percussionist who’s played recorded and toured with Liche Fuentes, Holly Near, Mark Levine, Blame Sally, Barbara Higbie, Tret Fure, Jennifer Berezan, Mimi Fox, and Gina Breedlove to name a few. spanning multiple genres of music from Brazilian to Middle Eastern to jazz, R&B and funk. She was a founding member of the renowned and long-term projects the Blazing Redheads and Wild Mango. Among her many instruments are congas, bongo, timbales, shekere, cajon, drumset, and so many more! Three Rivers band’s taleneted multiinstrumentalist Jeff Hobbs was a featured performer alongside Joan Baez and Sargent Splendor in the 2025 production of Soiled Dove with the Vau de Vire society cast. He plays many genres of music with a plethora of Bay Area bands using his improvisational approach. He’s best known for his playing in Rosin Coven, the original band for SF’s fantastic Edwardian Ball. “Jeff Hobbs plays cello, violin, mandolin, bass, clarinet and saxophone, and is a stalwart of the Bay Area improv music scene. Anne Marie Praetzel (vocals/mandolin) grew up singing harmonies with her sisters on the back porch, and loves nothing more than adding vocal color to the musical mix. She sings with Bay Area bands, including Dead Enough, Peter Harris’s Grateful Band, Phil McGee & Friends, Scarlet Fyre, among others.
