Sage Chioma will share a moving journey of discovery, and how unknowingly walking in the footsteps of her ancestors led her to profound connection, healing and revelation of her place in the American story and a fuller sense of what it means to belong.
Sage Chioma (she/her)
Sage Chioma is a poet, playwright and practitioner of healing arts whose work weaves together creative expression, social justice and public health. She holds a degree in social justice and policy studies from Guilford College and a graduate degree in public health specializing in social and behavioral sciences. She is the author of “Earth is a Mother’s Hood,” a poetry collection celebrating the divine feminine.
