You Don’t Need a New You – You Need a New Yes

January signals a new year but not a new you. We still carry the same fears, doubts, and habits into fresh calendars. This service explores how real change doesn’t come from becoming someone else, but from learning to say a new “yes” to God, to courage, and to the next right step even when you’re afraid.

Prince Muraguri (he/him) is a development economist who recently returned to his home country Kenya after working at UC Berkeley. Passionate about using data for impact, he works on research that informs policy across Africa. Now navigating life as a new dad together with his partner Patriciah, Prince is embracing the joys and challenges of raising their growing family.

We meet in person at 1924 Cedar Street and on Zoom for Worship Services on Sundays at 10:30 AM. If you’d like to attend via Zoom, please email worshiponline@bfuu.org for the meeting ID and link. You can also stream the service live and catch the replay on BFUU’s Youtube channel.
