The Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are rapidly approaching, and they provide some unique issues for Unitarian Universalists. Jim Freschi and Jay Roller return to BFUU to add a little perspective to this busy season. They’ll discuss how to navigate this often hectic and sometimes confusing time with joy and gratitude while also being true to our UU principles.

Jim Freschi (he/him)
Jim Freschi was born in Southern California and moved to the Bay Area 26-years-ago. He worked in public affairs for publicly-owned water districts and was previously a reporter and editor for small newspapers in the San Joaquin Valley. He now lives in Oakland, has been a member of the Live Oak Unitarian Universalist Fellowship since its founding in 2009, and currently serves as its president.

We meet in person at 1924 Cedar Street and on Zoom for Services on Sundays at 11:00 AM. If you’d like to attend via Zoom, please email worshiponline@bfuu.org for the meeting ID and link. You can also stream the service live and catch the replay on BFUU’s Youtube channel.
